Arrive at Purulia railway station and meet our tour representative on the platform. Transfer to Murguma, set among low hills and Santhal villages on the quieter side of Purulia. After checking in at your eco stay, spend the afternoon by the Murguma Dam waters and walk the embankment path. End the day at the dam for sunset over the hills across the water. Overnight stay in Murguma.

After breakfast, drive up the Bagmundi ghat road to the Ajodhya plateau. Visit the Upper Dam, the Bamni Falls viewpoint and Turga Falls, subject to water flow and access, followed by the Marble Lake in its old quarry basin. In the afternoon, visit the Charida mask-makers’ village, where Chhau masks are made by hand, and the Mayur Pahar viewpoint. Return to Murguma by evening. Overnight stay in Murguma.

Start with an early morning walk through the Santhal villages and along the dam, the quietest hour for birdlife. Return for breakfast and check out, then drive to Ranchi, stopping at Pakhi Pahar on the way out, subject to access. Check in at your hotel in Ranchi. In the afternoon, visit Pahari Mandir on its rock outcrop above the city, Ranchi Lake and Rock Garden. Overnight stay in Ranchi.

After breakfast, drive east to Hundru Falls and Jonha Falls, subject to water flow and access, with a stop at the Getalsud Dam backwaters. Return to Ranchi by evening, visiting Kanke Dam, Tagore Hill and the Jagannath Temple at Dhurwa. Overnight stay in Ranchi.

Start early and drive south to Dassam Falls, subject to water flow and access, with a stop at the Tribal Research Institute Museum on the return. Come back to Ranchi for lunch, check out, and drive to Patratu Valley, descending the ghat road through its hairpin bends with stops at the valley viewpoints. Check in at your resort by the lake. End the day at the sunset point above the valley, watching the light change over the water and the hills. Overnight stay in Patratu.

Start with an early morning boat ride on Patratu Lake, subject to water conditions. After breakfast, visit Patratu Dam, the Nalkari River stretch and the forest paths nearby, followed by the Sikidiri Hydel Project. Afternoon at leisure at the resort. Return to the upper ghat viewpoints in the evening for the valley lights below. Overnight stay in Patratu.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Ranchi, stopping at the ghat road viewpoints on the way out. Visit the city market if your departure time allows, before your drop at the airport or railway station.
