Bon Polashi partnered with Ocean6 Holidays to host 75 students for a 2N/3D educational program. The immersive itinerary included nature study, a CGWB scientist’s water conservation talk, and a Chhau dance cultural experience, all within our sustainable, AC-equipped setting.

Holi - Basanta Utsav 2025 - Foreign International

The vibrant Holi celebration at Bon Polashi Eco Hut welcomed 32 guests, including foreigners from diverse countries, to immerse themselves in tradition. Amidst nature’s charm, they shared bright colours, Baul music, and cultural performances, symbolizing unity and unforgettable festive joy.

What makes Bon Polashi Eco Hut, a unique tourist place in Purulia, is its surroundings. Take a walk in any direction from the cottages and you will see different sides of the nature. Hills, Forests, Dam, Rivers, paddy fields spread across the area – and everything within a 10 minutes’ walk.

Ajodhya Hill is a very popular tourist destination in Purulia and it is just an hour’s drive from Bon Polashi Eco Hut. You can visit the nearby area like Upper Dam, Lower Dam and Bamni Falls to complete your trip to Purulia district. We recommend, you must visit the Charida village near Bagmundi, which is famous for its mask-making for Chhau Dance.

A trip to Purulia can be a totally different experience during the season of Spring. It is the time when Polash flowers bloom and give the place a bright, orange, flame-like hue. There is an abundance of Polash trees at and around the Bon Polashi Eco Hut premises and a visit to Bon Polashi, during the full bloom of Polash, could be an experience of a lifetime.

With the surroundings of Bon Polashi Eco Hut plush green and the water-bodies full, the place gets a new look during the monsoon. The spillover, at the Murguma dam, during the peak monsoon, is a special tourist attraction of Purulia district.

Bon Polashi Eco Hut, being located at a spot amidst water-bodies and hills, is a photographer’s delight. Sightings of rare birds are also common. The place being close to Gurrabera village makes it unique, with a lot of scope to photographers to capture the rural flavour of Bengal.
